I am Raffaele Chiavola, founder and lead filmmaker at Film Vision Studio — a luxury wedding videography studio based in Ragusa, Sicily, specializing in cinematic destination wedding films for international couples.

Before I am a filmmaker, I am an observer.

My approach blends documentary authenticity with refined cinematic aesthetics. I am not interested in staged scenes or generic compositions. I am interested in what is real — the nervous laugh before the ceremony, the way your partner looks at you when they think no one is watching, the voice of a parent giving a toast, the quiet moment between the two of you after everyone has left.

Film Vision Studio is based in Ragusa, Sicily and operates across the entire island — from Taormina and Noto to Ragusa, Syracuse, Catania, Palermo and the Aeolian Islands.
We also film regularly across Italy — Tuscany, Amalfi Coast, Lake Como, Rome, Venice, Puglia — and for destination weddings worldwide.
Our team works exclusively with one wedding per day, ensuring complete focus, presence and dedication to every couple we work with. This is a deliberate choice — not a logistical limitation. Your wedding day deserves undivided attention, and that is exactly what we give it.
We collaborate with a carefully selected creative team — second camera operators, drone pilots and audio specialists — all of whom share the same commitment to discretion, elegance and cinematic quality.
