Daniele & Lucrezia — Destination Wedding in Scicli and Villa Anna, Sicily

There is a particular kind of morning light in the Val di Noto — the kind that settles over honey-colored stone and makes everything feel like it's already part of a film. On the 26th of June, that light found Daniele in Modica and Lucrezia inside the elegant rooms of Palazzo Favacchio Patanè in Scicli, two separate mornings that were quietly building toward the same afternoon.

By half past two, Lucrezia was ready — a bride in white and ivory, with green woven softly through the day's palette, from the bouquet to the smallest details laid out for the getting-ready shots. At Chiesa San Bartolomeo, one of Scicli's most beloved landmarks, Don Salvo Bella welcomed a hundred guests for a religious ceremony that filled the church with music from Amedeo Falla's organ.

What followed was pure Sicilian celebration. The reception moved to Villa Anna, where the Sarabanda Band and DJ Charlie Chaplin carried the evening from candlelit dinner speeches into a night of dancing. Two videographers moved through the day together, working to capture both the intimate exchanges — the vows, the arrival in the villa, the toasts during dinner — and the wider, joyful chaos of a hundred guests celebrating two families becoming one.

Daniele and Lucrezia had always imagined this day taking shape around two moments in particular: the arrival at the villa, and the promises exchanged in front of family and friends. Everything else — the flowers by Officina Didattica, the bride's gown from Kartika Sposa, the groom's suit tailored in Catania, the Range Rover Sport that carried them between locations — was built around making space for those two moments to breathe.
